2020 saw EMBASSY Jewel AG of Lucerne cease production of the MIH Watch, launched 15 years earlier in 2005. The industrial designer responsible for its external aesthetics, Christian Gafner, thought the project too good for it to vanish from the market. He acquired the rights from Embassy and submitted the watch to an Upgrade. The Mechanik2® retains the face of the original but with a gentle refresh, and a new location has been set for the 30-minute counter. M2 watch
